The standby time is 180 days, but the actual lifespan depends on the frame rate, resolution, and time interval you set. After our testing, when in the time-lapse mode, with a 2MP setting, taking a picture every 5 minutes, and a frame rate of 10FPS, it can be used for about 90 days.In time-lapse mode, if the time-lapse video reaches 2G, our program will regenerate new video files but will not overwrite the video files that have been generated (except when the TF card space is full but you didn’t set up protection for the video), because video exceeding 2G may have problems playing on some computers.The product page comes with a video on how to shoot a time-lapse video in time-lapse mode, which we recommend you watch before using it.
