Terms of Service

Last updated October 19, 2026

About these terms

These terms govern your use of nudope.com (the “site”), operated by Nudope (“Nudope”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

They are written to be read. Where they summarise how we work with clients, a signed agreement between you and us always takes precedence (see Client engagements).

Using this website

You may browse the site, share links to it and contact us through it. You agree not to:

  • use the site or its contact form to send spam, malware or unlawful content;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system, or interfere with its operation (including load or vulnerability testing without our written permission);
  • scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others, or misrepresent your identity when contacting us;
  • copy the site’s design, copy or graphics to present them as your own.

If you believe you have found a security issue, please report it to hello@nudope.com (see also security.txt). We appreciate responsible disclosure.

Information is not an offer

Service descriptions, timelines, technology lists and examples on the site describe how we typically work. They are not an offer, a quotation or a guarantee of any particular result. Prices, scope and timelines are agreed only in a written proposal or agreement for your project.

Client engagements

Work for clients (discovery sprints, projects, dedicated teams and support plans) is governed by a separate written agreement, such as a master services agreement and a statement of work. Unless that agreement says otherwise, these default positions apply:

  • Ownership. On payment of the fees for a deliverable, the intellectual property in the work we create specifically for you is assigned to you. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, know-how and general-purpose components, and grant you a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use any of them that are included in your deliverables.
  • Open-source and third-party components. Deliverables may include open-source software and third-party services, which remain under their own licences and terms. We will tell you which ones are used.
  • Confidentiality. We keep your confidential information confidential, use it only to perform the work, and sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement on request before discovery.
  • Your data. We process data you give us only to perform the work and on your instructions, and we return or delete it at the end of the engagement.
  • Fees and changes. Each phase is priced in writing before it starts. Changes to scope are priced and agreed before they are built.
  • AI systems. Outputs of machine-learning and language models are probabilistic and can be wrong. We design for evaluation, monitoring and human review, but you remain responsible for decisions made using those outputs in your business.

Enquiries and proposals

Sending an enquiry does not create a contract or oblige either of us to anything. We treat what you tell us in an enquiry as confidential and use it only to respond, as described in the Privacy Policy. Please do not send passwords, production credentials or regulated personal data (such as health records) through the contact form. If a project involves them, we will agree a secure channel first.

Unless stated otherwise, a written proposal is valid for 30 days from its date.

Intellectual property

The site, including its text, design, drawings, graphics, logo and code, belongs to Nudope or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. Any other reproduction needs our written permission.

Third-party names and links

Names of technologies, products and companies mentioned on the site (for example programming languages, frameworks, cloud platforms and AI models) are trademarks of their respective owners. Mentioning them describes technologies we work with. It does not imply endorsement, partnership or affiliation. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Disclaimer

The site is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it is error-free, complete or uninterrupted. Nothing on the site is legal, financial or other professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nudope is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Liability for client work is governed solely by the applicable client agreement.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Changes apply from that date and do not affect any signed client agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Disputes relating to them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada, unless mandatory law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
